The results of the pilot project provide the technical background to support the formulation of an EU action plan to renovate and modernise the existing European building stock and position disaster prevention and reduction of risks at the core of EU funds.
In this context, the pilot project defines solutions that, simultaneously and in the least invasive way, can both reduce seismic vulnerability and increase energy efficiency in such a way to produce a significant environmental impact.
